Certain fields may have a validation list to define a list of terms that will be accepted in that field. Browsing and pasting from a validation list is a convenient way of adding entries to new or existing records, and of seeing what entries are allowed in a field.

If you have imported data from another textbase, added validation lists since your textbase was created, or allowed users to override and/or update the entries when you defined the validation list in the textbase structure, you may need to cleanup entries in your textbase and/or your validation list. With Version 12.0 of Text Works, this task has become easier! You now have the option to update the corresponding entries in your textbase when you update or delete entries in your validation list.
