Web Publisher Pro enables you to make your DB/Text textbases available to a wide audience either on the web or through your organisation's intranet. It is easy to set up and maintain and it provides your users with a friendly web-style interface that makes use of the fast and powerful searching capabilities of the DB/Text Works software. Recent advances in this powerful product enable you to have full interactivity – your users can edit records (but only if you allow them to do so!) and order literature or products. What's more, compliance with international data exchange standards such as XML means that Web Publisher Pro integrates with other applications.

Our demonstration of a sample portal shows how easily you can provide your clients with up-to-the-minute, subject-indexed web links via the internet or your intranet. Our Maxus ArtWorks online trial demonstrates the kind of interface Web Publisher Pro can provide to an image collection (in this case, a small sample of digitised paintings). Additionally, our interactive demonstration lets you try out a live example of editing textbase records through the web using Web Publisher Pro. The forms in all of these textbases were designed using the fast and simple web design facilities now available in versions 7.01 and later of this great product.

Web Publisher Pro enhancements
Maxus is able to provide you with a range of enhancements to your Web Publisher Pro screens. For example we can set up a cart facility to enable your users to store items for later use. They can also use the cart to send you a request for an item, or they can share an item with a friend or colleague via email. We can also make it possible for you and your users to take the results of a Web Publisher Pro search and send the results to a spreadsheet or download them to a file. And we can customise the way your search results look — for instance, incorporating your organisation's style sheet and site template, or changing the positioning of Next/Previous buttons.
